My background lies in health having worked in dentistry for many years until the late 1980's. The 1990's saw a number of life changing happenings which have helped to take me down my present path.

I have always held an interest in astrology and in 1989 I began the journey of a serious study of astrology, tarot and the Kabalah. In 1992, in response to demands from friends and colleagues, I began to teach astrology. This quickly had a snowballing effect and I very soon discovered myself teaching both astrology and tarot at Fareham College. This was very much a breakthrough as it has been a long crusade to have these subjects recognized in the curriculum for the value they deserve, in addition to ensuring that my students received due recognition for their academic achievements. Since 1998 both first-level astrology and tarot courses have carried a vocational qualification from an academic awarding body and are now recognized for their academic value. There are plans to develop the advanced courses along the same academic route.

Alongside my teaching I have always maintained a hands-on approach offering astrology commissions, tarot, healing and counseling.

I have what might be called a very practical approach to my work. My quest is to attempt to remove the 'sensationalism' from this area. I recoil when I hear other souls refer to themselves as 'psychics' or 'masters' (in terms of healing) as we all have the ability to connect with our higher selves and, to me, it suggests elements of ego which is the antithesis of our spiritual selves. Anyone of us can channel healing, any one of us can give a tarot reading if we choose it to be part of our soul's journey in this incarnation. I often comment to my students that I sometimes feel a fraud teaching them something that they already innately know ... I am merely the catalyst that re-sparks their own inner knowledge.
