Counselling still carries somewhat of a stigma to it.  In reality, in today's society where communities have become so dispersed and fragmented and our busy lives put increasing demands and pressures on us, the counselor has in many ways taken over the role of the 'lady in the corner shop' or 'auntie Nell' a few doors away.  We all need someone to talk to sometimes, if only to help us to see the wood for the trees in the complexities of our lives.  So as well as dealing with the serious issues, counselling can 'lend us an ear' when we need to be able to think more clearly.

In addition to appointments in my office I can also offer a mobile and a telephone service for counseling.  Please contact me by any of the following methods for an appointment.
